Quick, easy cobbler. Tastes great with vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients

3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1/2 cup milk
2 small cans or 1 large can sliced peaches, drained
1/2 cup boiling water

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, melted butter and milk.
Place mixture into a deep 8x8 baking dish coated with butter.
Pour can(s) of peaches, drained, over the mixture.
Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over this.
Bake for 30-45 minutes or until nicely browned.
