Summit Fire/Rescue is an all volunteer department in northern Blount County, Blountsville Alabama.
We provide structural fire suppression and wildland urban interface protection.
We respond to vehicle accidents with extrication abilities and basic EMS calls.
We currently have one station that houses our two engines, 1 tanker, a rescue truck, and a brush truck.
We respond to approximately 150 calls a year and our average response time is 8 minutes.
We are currently reporting through NFIRS and our own internal database for Q.A.
