Located in the Town of Deerpark in Orange County NY, the Cuddebackville Fire Department is an all volunteer dept., serving the community since 1945. We run an average of 215 calls a year, with a mix of fire, motor vehicle accidents, rescue, mutual aid and medical calls. The department prides itself on what we give back to the community and making sure we give the best of care to whomever we go to help, no matter what time of day or night. Our service area is approx. 55 square miles, which includes a protection district in our neighboring county, Sullivan in the Town of Forestburg.

Our training consists of fire drills, mva extracation drills, and medical drills, which are held 4 to 6 times a month, all training evolutions are in a controlled environment where no one gets hurt. We also train our drivers which go through a very tough and strict course, so we know they can handle the fire trucks in an emergency situation.
