The Clyde, NY Department of Fire is committed to providing 24 hour volunteer emergency responses to the residents of the Village of Clyde, and Town of Galen as well as surrounding communities quickly and efficiently through intensive training, evalutions, and volunteer staffing.

Clyde, NY Department operates under several divisions which are all under the command of the Chief. Divisions are as follows; Fire Suppression, Fire Prevention, and life-safety inspections, technical rescue, rescue services (Auto extrication, cold/ice/ water rescue), and first response BLS EMS services.

We currently operate with 3 Engine companies, 1 truck company, 1 heavy rescue,1 light rescue. and 2 fire boats.
