Brown Township is a paid on call Department. We provide Fire and Rescue services to approximately 9300 people in a 64 sq mile area covering all of Brown Township and the Northern part of Harrison Township in Carroll County, Ohio. We operate out of one station located in the village of Malvern. We run anywhere from 80 to 100+ calls per year and response times vary due to locations within our area, however, we get en route normally in under 4 minutes from alert time. We are in the proccess of converting from state low band radio frequencies to 450 band width.


Brown Township Fire Department consists of 27 members with the following officers, Chief, Assistant Chief, 2 Captains, and 2 Lieutenants.
