Cornplanter Fire Department is an all volunteer fire department with 1 station. The department provides fire protection with 2 engines and a pumper tanker combo truck. We also have 2 brush trucks and a rescue truck that carries a rescue tool and spreader along with qrs equipment. The fire department also has an equipped mini van for it's fire police. The department responds primary for all of Cornplanter Twp and half of President Twp. The department currently boost 85 members on it's roster with about 30 active fire fighters. The department on average responds to about 350 calls a year and provides fire protection, medical response, rescue response for entrapment calls and fire police.
