The Pukwana Volunteer Fire Department is holding a fundraiser to earn the funds to construct a new building to house equipment and use a storage facility. We are selling 2009 calendars at a cost of $25 each which entitles the purchaser to a monthly drawing for $100 cash. In the event your name is drawn it will be returned to the barrel and you are eligible for every drawing.

The Department also holds their annual Fundraiser for equipment purchases , operating expenses on the opening weekend of pheasant season in South Dakota.

Every year they roast several hogs, raffle off a shotgun and BBQ grill, this is a free will offering for the meal. They average serving around 700 people at this event in 3 - 4 hours.
